shabs confirmed that the question is solved:
You're right the wait doesn't really make a difference here. I only had
it because I thought there was a timing problem.

So far I was running this scenario in slow motion, but now that I run it
in Normal Run it works fine. Is this a bug with the 'run in slow
motion'?
