Puneet confirmed that the question is solved:
My apologies for the above question. I tried to reproduce it but i
wasn't able to but then I though why the url is getting typed in upper
case when i have the same url in lower case. The reason was my caps lock
was on. Once i put off the caps then it worked fine.
