Please forgive me for yanking you back to 2002 but I am having trouble making Sikuli work on my old computer. It is a 2002 version of Windows XP and ver 8 java.

I am having the same issue many had but I cannot find a solution that works for me. When I click on any of the  icons in the IDE such as "take screen shot", "insert image", or "create region" the IDE closes.

Please recognize that I understand and appreciate the difficulties in working with an OS like this that is no longer supported by Microsoft and that most of you work in other OSs but I am stuck in a legacy program that I use for the classroom and it does not run on anything except XP.

What makes a lot of the things I read here tough to understand is that I am not a programmer and do not understand  java. I am becoming familiar however with python and Sikuli script.

So is there a fix for this old computer?
