Message #29580
[Question #258607]: [1.1.0] How to set up a developers computer?
New question #258607 on Sikuli:
https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/258607
I want to consult, compile, run, debug the code in my own developer's environment in a Windows 7 VM. So far this is the list of applications that I have downloaded and installed; the VM I am using was almost empty:
Already had:
- Python 2.7.8
- pycharm 3.4.1
- Chrome 39.0
- 7 zip
Just
- Java jre 7
- jdk 1.7.0_71
- maven 3.2.3
- NetBeans IDE 8.0.2 / Java SE
- Jython 2.7b3
- GitHub for windows
- Clone SikuliX-2014
I open NetBeans IDE and open the SikuliX-2014 project. I can see the following folders in the IDE: Modules, Dependencies (empty), Test Dependencies and Project Files (1 pom file).
What other plugins do I need in NetBeans (notice I installed the smaller version, no c++, groovy, php, etc)?
I don't see the code in the IDE (I am new to NetBeans)?
How do I start compiling / running the project?
Any tip, trick, suggestion is welcomed :-)
Thanks,
Rodolfo
