I'm also seeing this, MacOS 10.10 and Sikuli 1.1.

Could it be a problem with small targets to find and/or when the found
item is top of the screen?

  [1.0.1] Findfailed; matching preview hangs endless

Bug description:
  I took a screenshot of an element that I am trying to doubleclick on.

  however,it can not be found.

  Then I use the match preview from the Sikuli IDE the pattern. 
  The match preview was loading all the time.

  system:windows 7
