I reported the startup time regression in comment #10 above, and you
promised to look into it in comment #13 :) I'm still using the build
from 0420 in practice because of this issue.

The code you list above with setUsing doesn't work. I haven't been able
to figure out exactly what goes wrong but the config file referenced via
the last argument does not get found by the application.
