Though Jython 2.7 is very complete regarding handling of non-ASCII
strings (unicode/UTF-8), there are still some places, where you get
problems with 2.7.0.

If you know, what your concrete problem might be, you should avoid the
situation.

If you do not have any idea, you have to track down, what changed the
last days and do some testing.

As a last rescue, you might step back to Jython 2.5.4:
- download latest nightly build
- run setup again
- when asked about Jython version, vote for 2.5
