Glowing Crystalline Entity confirmed that the question is solved:
I have most of my system settings on max, but I'll look to see if I
missed anything. ;-)  The scrollbar would be faster, but it's also a lot
more work to find in my case... so I went with the wheel instead.  Your
sample code from the other question did speed things up, though, so I'll
go with that for now. :)
