I do not understand, why you need the gem stuff.

beneath your Watir/Cucumber environment you have some Ruby layer, that implements the Cucumber stuff.
In this Ruby context you want to utilize Sikuli features.

So take care, that you work with JRuby at the Ruby level, put
sikulixapi.jar on the Java class path and say require/include at the
JRuby level.
