I found the reason for the slowdown (a hack to avoid a general mouse
action slowdown after 1 minute on Mac 10.10+).
I made some revisions and "fast clicking" (> 30 clicks per second) will
be back with the next nightly build of 1.1.1 (sorry, no chance to avoid
it in 1.1.0).
the next nightly build will be available within the next 2 - 3 days
