[Question #290166]: Sikulix is not recognizing my Java version

Hello,
 My current version of java is  "Java 8 update 77" and I've followed the link to download sikulix :" sikulixsetup-1.1.0.jar". both programs were downloaded successfully, but when I try to run sikulix i get the error prompt:

The bundled jython 2.7.0
Cannot be used on java 6!
Run setup again in this environment.
Click ok to terminate now

i've validated the java but, also tried uninstalling, and reinstalling, each of these programs. so i'm quite stumped as to what to do
