this is the code:
import time
start = time.time()
if exists("1504527337643.png",0.5):#the size of image is 1280*720 ,my screen 1980 * 1080
    print "found"
else:
    print "not found"
end = time.time()
print "exists: %f s" % (end - start)


and the output:

not found
exists: 3.345000 s

it's the same when i adjust to 0
