When a script don't work what you expect, it is necessary to know what SikuliX recognize and what SikuiX don't recognize.
When SikuiX don't recognize it, the initial similarity setting may be the cause.
If necessary, you can change similarity setting.

SikuliX IDE have "matching preview" feature.
Did you try matching preview feature?
 
By using "matching preview" feature, you can understand better similarity to find image.
When you click image thumbnail in script on SikuliX IDE, "pattern setting" window will open.
Select "matching preview" tab.

If SikuliX find somethings, there are covered with red type rectangle.
