Re: [Question #675120]: how do I move Sikuli from downloads to /Applications directory on mac
Question #675120 on Sikuli changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/675120
Status: Needs information => Open
Marc Summers gave more information on the question:
Please, allow me to explain in detail.
I have a Macintosh laptop, with Mojave OS installed on it.
I needed to install Sikuli 1.1.3 on it.
When I went to the WEB page to download it, the
https://launchpad.net/sikuli/+milestone/1.1.3
the jar file sikulixsetup-1.1.3.jar default goes into the
/Users/<my name>/Downloads directory
So with out thinking about it, I double clicked on the sikulixsetup-1.1.3.jar
file to install it. But it was still in the Downloads directory.
At the end of the install there is a small window that comes up and says
you should move this to the /Applications directory.
But once Sikuli is installed, I don't know how to move it to the /Applications directory
on my Macintosh Laptop.
So all I am asking is, how do I move it to the /Applications directory ?
But in order to do that I would also have to know where all of the files
are located.
So if you could help me with these two things, it would be much
appreciated.
1. Where are all of the files for Sikuli installed on a Macintosh Mojave
2. How to do I move them over to the /Applications directory
Thanks again for all of your help.
