RaiMan proposed the following answer:
@Andrew
- put the sikulix....jar in a folder where it is alone (not into some .sikuli folder)
- purge the Jython....jar - not needed
- again delete the Sikulix app data folder
- rename the folder C:\Users\Andrew\Documents\GitHub\my-tests.sikuli  temporarily to something else (so it will not be loaded at startup)

... and try again with the extra monitor detached
