[Bug 1412807] Re: Sikuli stopped running after successfully running for a month
This happened for me as well on windows 11 with version 2.0.5. After using it for a couple of days I could not open the IDE.
The solution was to delete 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\org\sikuli'.
How to do it:
- Press windows-key + R
- Write regedit
- Find the above path and delete the sikuli folder.
Any idea why this happens?

Title:
Sikuli stopped running after successfully running for a month
Status in SikuliX:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Version: Sikuli 1.0.1
OS: Windows 8.1( 64-bit)
I have been using Sikuli for around a month without any failures. But suddenly today, when i tried to open the IDE from the cmd as i usually do, the Sikuli IDE didn't start up. The name yellow color box comes showing sikuli is about to start, and goes away without starting the Sikuli IDE. I tried restarting the computer twice, but no effect, Sikuli IDE didn't startup and you don't see any message in the cmd as well.
Then i tried looking at the sikuli jar files (which were saved in my downloads folder). Unlikely, all those files had an extension of .backup in them. It seems quite strange that those files' extension were changed or something else is the case.
I'm not sure whether its a bug or a behaviour of Sikuli.
