[Bug 605844] Re: scan + crop + rotate= "Failed to save file\n couldn't allocate memory for loading JPEG file"

So the application does not crash but only display that message? Could
you attach a screenshot of that message? You can keep working with the
program and even successfully save the scan after rotating it some more
and maybe changing the location?

Bug description:
  steps to reproduce
  scan 1 page
  right click image select crop then letter
  rotate page CCW. this is the direction i tested with.
  click save. doesn't matter what format as none save but varies message in error bod

  save as pdf results in this message: "Failed to save file\n couldn't
  allocate memory for loading JPEG file"

  you should also have people run the debug line as simple-scan --debug
  > simple-scan.log 2>&1 that way stderr is captured

  steps taken in log
  run simple-scan --debug > simple-scan.log 2>&1
  scan page
  crop ->letter
  rotate  CCW
  save -> fails resulting in msg above
  rotate back CW
  save -> works fine

  this bug doesn't happen if you rotate then crop. only happens when you crop then rotate.'
