  scan fails with HP m1120 MFP

Bug description:
  I have a HP LaserJet m1120 MFP. Printing works perfect and scanning
  with xsane too.

  When running it from the terminal, this is the error I got after
  trying to scan (it starts scanning and it shows the image being
  scanned, but when it is done it says something along the lines of
  "communication with the device failed" -- my system is in portuguese,
  I wouldn't know the exact translation):

  ** (simple-scan:3311): WARNING **: Unable to read frame from device:
  End of file reached

  (simple-scan:3311): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_copy_area:
  assertion `dest_y >= 0 && dest_y + height <= dest_pixbuf->height'
  failed

  And the page goes black.
