[Bug 691137] Re: Mirrored Image When Scanning via Document Feeder

I am experiencing (perhaps) the same issue with a Lexmark x5650 all-in-
one print/scanner unit. Scans on the flatbed are fine, while scans
through the automatic feeder are horizontally mirrored. However, xsane
displays the same behavior with this scanner (until it has been taught
to mirror scanned images). Debug log is attached (showing two scans,
first ADF, then flatbed).

Title:
Mirrored Image When Scanning via Document Feeder

Status in Simple Scan:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I'm using a HP M1212nf multi-function machine that works as it should
with xsane. However in Simple Scan if I scan a document through the
feeder the resulting image is horizontally flipped (mirrored). To
correct it at this point I have to open the saved image in GIMP (or
another image manip. application) and flip it horizontally so that
  everything is legible.

I've attached my debug log output.
