Why are such simple bugs are handled so complicated and longsome???

Activate the default page size in the settings menu which exists since
years.

Or make an even better and user friendly solution:
Set the cropping size and position and press a "set default cropping" button.

Isn't that easy and user friendly?

Bug description:
  This is my very first bug report. I hope it's useful. ;-)

  There should be no manual cropping after scanning multiple pages with
  ADF.

  Simple-Scan knows the default page size from the settings menu.
  Probably the only additional information needed is the alignment of
  the page related to the whole scan area.

  Perhaps printing and scanning a predefined testpage could automate the
  alignment process.
