[Question #261515]: My Simple Scan program does not see my scanner

New question #261515 on Simple Scan:

The Simple Scan program 3.6.1 gives the error message No Scanners detected. please make sure the scanner is connected and powered on..

It is on and connected, it prints  OK but no scanning.

The printer scanner is a HP Photosmart C4480

Any help will be much apreciated ...
