[Question #558627]: Trying to use SimpleScan but it can't find my BrotherScan

I've plugged in my Brother Scanner ADS-1600W but it is not recogenised by Simple Scan. Neither can I find any options in the program to make it connect/search for the scanner. Does anyone have an algorithm how to proceed next, to make it work.
