Re: [Question #200001]: Command in launcher properties

Question #200001 on Simple Scan changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/simple-scan/+question/200001

thomas jamies posted a new comment:
To restore the correct text in the "Command" field in the properties of
Simple Scan, you can follow these steps:

Open the terminal on your computer.
Type the following command and press Enter: sudo nano /usr/share/applications/simple-scan.desktop
This will open the Simple Scan desktop file in a text editor (nano) with superuser (root) privileges.
Scroll down to the line that starts with "Exec=" in the text editor.
Replace the text after "Exec=" with the following command: simple-scan %f
Press Ctrl+O to save the changes, and then press Ctrl+X to exit the text editor.
Close the terminal.

See: https://www.elepcb.com/

After following these steps, you should have restored the correct text
in the "Command" field of the Simple Scan properties. You can now try
launching Simple Scan again and see if it works correctly with your
Brother MFC-J825DW scanner. If the issue persists, you may need to re-
install the scan driver and scan key tool from the Brother Solutions
Center and make sure to follow the instructions carefully for proper
installation.
