The GNOME FTP module scripts have never really seemed to be happy with
simple-scan releases being uploaded without there being a bugzilla
account for it, and now it doesn't seem to work at all.  So I've
decided to upload the released directly to Launchpad now.  The
downside of this is there aren't any automatic FTP announcements of
released in GNOME.

The 3.4 series is here:

Simple Scan continues to follow the GNOME release schedule.
