Hi everyone,

I know we are (usually) not working lists from top to bottom.
But please have a look at:

The one thing that bothers the most people (by a big margin) seems to be the broken page size thing.
I suggest we start an organized investigation into this issue and fix it forever!
Please tell me your opinion.

To debug this issue, I suggest to log some things right before starting a scan:
- the actual scan size to be used
- relevant info about what is set in Document->Preferences
- relevant info about what is stored in the Simple Scan config
- relevant info about what `locale` is set
- paperconfig, paperconf, /etc/papersize, /etc/libpaper.d

Moreover, I'd like to suggest that we add a new entry to the help menu.
"View log file" is help for self-help and it should basically execute "xdg-open $HOME/.cache/simple-scan/simple-scan.log"
