Hello all,

Ubuntu 9.04, 64 bit
Linux kernel 2.6.28-12 and 2.6.28-13

followed the pdf download, also modified some of the scripts based on these
threads ONLY, not savvy enough to make any changes I didn't read about
here...I can switch cards with one reboot, not even a complete shutdown...

Although switching works quite well, no Compiz love on either chip...what
gives?
Nor does brightness controls work, I mean they do activate the notification
for brightness,  but actual brightness isn't changing...

Any ideas how I can fix these issues?

ALSO, I found an interesting hiccup that may help you gurus figure out hot
switching...After I couldn't get my brightness or Compiz working, I figured
that I'd try to re-test the sony module .9 by Eva...I was in speed mode, and
really wasn't thinking...When I did a "make test" the x server died, and the
light switched from speed to stamina, but the computer was still running!
Nothing I did would bring up another x session and I couldn't get to a
terminal, but it still did "hot switch," in a sense!  So maybe there is
something there?  I really don't know...
