There is currently a bug in the intel 915 drm kernel code that prevents
things from working smoothly on recent kernels. Several non-official
patches are out there. Intel is working on it.

At the moment the tickets assigned intel developer is waiting for his
own Sony VAIO Z series notebook with dual graphics :)
