Re: New Vaio Z13, problems

 

I just followed the instructions found here: 
http://forum.notebookreview.com/sony/473226-insyde-hacking-new-vaio-z-advanced-menu-bios.html 

I had some trouble finding the insyde fla utility (apparently it's propietary forbidden-sharing stuff), there's a working link to it somewhere down the same thread. The rest of the process was quite straightforward, as long as you have the nerve to gamble with bricking such an expensive gadget! 

Just be really careful with the process, specially the "python advanced-menu.py" and have a close look at the output, see if it prints any error messages.

I have the same laptop as you, but did not manage to patch the BIOS. How 
did you do that?
