Hi

Im wondering how I could use adams kernel with archlinux. I'm pretty new to
kernel patching and stuff like that. Can someone please explain how I can do
this?

You don't need to patch/compile the kernel, if you're ok with just using
adam's pre-compiled kernels. In which case:
 - use an archive manager such as file-roller to open adam's .deb files and
extract the "data.tar.gz" or "data.tar.bz2" files
 - extract those and put the relevant files in the right places. For
example, the linux-image data.tar.bz2 archive will have files that go in
/boot, and modules that go in /lib/modules, so you copy those to your
   system in the right places
 - add the new kernel as an option in your bootloader

and it should work.

If that's not clear enough, let me know :-)

As for actually compiling/patchiing/modifying the kernel, I was doing this
for a while, but I don't remember what degree of success I had, I'll get
back to you when I remember. I think I'll be attempting this on Monday or
so.
