Okay, if I don't specify acpi_osi (static switching), then the system ends up
using the Intel card. The position of the switch has no effect, I get Intel
every time.
So, in short, on Z12:
- no static switching: OK (using Intel)
- static switching + speed mode: OK (using nVidia)
- static switching + stamina mode: OK (using Intel)
I'm guessing nVidia probably works when not static switching then, you just
have to go around kernel/X defaults. So, I presume static switching should
not be needed anymore (whether by BIOS hack or kernel param) to have a fully
working system unless you just want nVidia the lazy way. :)
