Hello,

I've been searching the last few hours in an attempt to find a solution 
to the final stumbling block in setting up my "new" (used) vaio Z11.   
In stamina mode I can adjust the screen backlight, but in speed mode 
with the nvidia driver, still no success.

1. nvclock and smartdimmer both segfault

2. nvidiabl does nothing

3. sony-acpid fixed the keyboard backlight sensor issue, but doesn't 
adjust the backlight

4. haven't tried modifying grub or xorg.conf, but judging form the info 
I found, it hasn't worked for anyone else yet...

Has anyone gotten this working?
