Hmmm. That gives a new dimention to the famous VI-SIGH (comes in may flavours I usually prefer: Oh-s<beep>t or f<beep>k !!!) when you by accident remove /usr/local/var containing a db with 10.000.000+ records - May end a promising carrier quite fast! ;-)
Serious: I have been there working as root most of the time ... and it is in 98% of the time OK. but there is still those 2 % left - usually things that is performed on too much caffeine and too little sleep. Restore can be quite time consuming IMHO (especially at 2 am!). :)

Couldn't agree more !!!! (and I've only been on Linux for a week now!) But on UNIX for ... half a lifetime ;-)
