Oracle 8.0.5 på RedHat 5.2

I have installed Oracle 8.0.5 on my RedHat 5.2 I made four partitions for
it: u01, u02..but after running the db a couple of times, and using my Win
partition on the same disk, it have changed the content of the four Oracle
mounts to "lost+found"...what the h... is going on???
