To sum it all up:

There has been one charge of boards from MSI, which has been
delivered in Japan, which had a minor problem with booting
under certain (rare) circumstances. The problem was not AMDs
fault, but the one of MSI, but they have brought up a new BIOS
and a tiny part has to be added (worth 8 $ US). MSI repairs
all boards that come back to them with this problem and the
bug is already fixed on all newer boards.

The newer boards can be identified by a "B" printed between
the ISA-Slots on the mainboard. The manuals are identical.
The unmodified boards have also a star-shaped sticker on it:
"for the japanese market". On the newer or repaired boards,
the sticker is round.

There is a very, very tiny chance that any of the "bad" boards
will ever reach Europe or the USA. We can all sleep safely!
