Hej

Jag försöker att få igång postgres på mitt RH 6.1 system.

När jag kör postmaster står det som följer:

[niklas@chief niklas]$ postmaster -D /usr/include/pgsql
/usr/bin/postmaster does not find the database system.  Expected to find
it in the PGDATA directory "/usr/include/pgsql", but unable to open file
with pathname "/usr/include/pgsql/base/template1/pg_class".

No data directory -- can't proceed.

Men var finns   "base/template1/pg_class"  (finns inte på min maskin)

Installerade med postgres vid installation av RH.
