Jeg har samme problem. Kpilot taler ikke sammen med m500:

        "Broken Hardware 

        Palm changed the sync protocol used by the m505. This has been
        implemented in pilot-link, the library that KPilot uses for
        serial communication, (see their webpage) , but it hasn't
        trickled down to KPilot. The code for KPilot has been
        modified, it ought to work, but I haven't seen it yet."
