Og skaleringen er sikkert "tung" og kræver regnekraft
i forhold til g32pbm's specialløsning (dubleringer af linierne).
Måske hvis man specificerer passende filter til convert
kan det gå hurtigere.
(plus at filtreret ved skalering også kan gøre billedet mere
 utydelig/grumset, dette afhænger dog af det anvendte filter)


Og  fra manualen til g32pbm:

       -s     Double  each  horizontal row of the fax file in the
              pbm file ("-stretch)".  You can use this to  adjust
              the  aspect ratio of a "normal resolution" fax file
              to match that of  a  "fine  resolution"  fax  file.
              This  might not seem like it belongs here, but it's
              much faster than using pnmscale|pgmtopbm later.
