Det kommer lidt an på dine behov, men hvis du vil have en fuld
backup af dit system på cd'er, så ser mondo interessant ud:

   Package: mondo

   mindi (>= 0.58), afio, buffer, gawk, cdrecord, lzop
   Size: 171926
   Description: System to backup your filesystem to CDs
   Mondo uses afio as the backup engine. Mondo creates ISO images
   of your data to make a full backup of your system. It also
   makes the CDs to autorun and gives you several options to
   restore your system. In the event of catastrophic data loss,
   you may restore some or all of your system from those CDs, even
   if your hard drives are now blank.
 
Hvis du vil have selektiv backup af dine "live data", så biks
noget sammen selv med find(1) og afio(1) og brug afio's
mulighed for at skrive direkte til cdr.
