AGP, GeForce MX 400 og via på soltek 85erv

Hejsa.

Jeg har købt en computer (2GHz, ½GB RAM,
Soltek 85ERV bundkort) men desværre har
jeg problemer med grafikkortet, et
agp GeForce2 MX400 64MB TV-out.

Skærmen fryser tilsyneladende umotiveret
ret ofte. (men jeg kan stadig bevæge musen)

Jeg har testet rammen med memtest86 og
bygget kerner med -j uden problemer, så
jeg tror ikke det er rammen og mistænker
derfor grafikkortet eller agp-broen.

Jeg bruger nvivias drivere v.1.0-3123 og
har ikke fået agp til at fungere:

gauss:~# cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/card
Fast Writes: Supported
SBA: Not Supported
AGP Rates: 4x 2x 1x
Registers: 0x1f000017:0x00000000
gauss:~# cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/status
Status: Disabled
gauss:~# cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/host-bridge
Host Bridge: Via (unknown)
Fast Writes: Not Supported
SBA: Supported
AGP Rates: 4x 2x 1x
Registers: 0x1f000207:0x1f000000

Desuden skriver kernen under boot følgende:

Linux agpgart interface v0.99 (c) Jeff Hartmann
agpgart: Maximum main memory to use for agp memory: 439M
agpgart: Unsupported Via chipset (device id: 3168), you might want to try agp_try_unsupported=1.
agpgart: no supported devices found.

Er der nogen der har forslag til hvordan
jeg kan undersøge det nærmere eller få det
til at fungere?

På forhånd tak.
