Hvor er min USB Disk?? Er den der stadig??

 

Hej, 

Jeg har haft kørt med en USB1 disk på min Redhat 8+9 uden problemer 
(kun den dårlige hastighed...). 

Nu her til morgen da jeg skulle starte maskinen op, kan jeg ikke 
længere mounte min disk. Hvorfor aner jeg ikke. Jeg hentede en ny
kerne fra Redhat i morges, men har prøvet med fem andre kerner dog
helt uden held.

Min fstab ser ud som følgende:
/dev/sda1  /home/usb vfat noauto,uid=500,gid=502,umask=002,users,rw 00

Når jeg mounter disken får jeg en fejl om at drevet ikke findes:
[root@localhost root]# mount /home/usb/
mount: /dev/sda1 is not a valid block device
[root@localhost root]#

jeg har kigget i kerne loggen men kan ikke se nogle specielle fejl, 
kun:
usb.c: USB device 2 (vend/prod 0x5ab/0x31) is not claimed by any active
driver.

Hvilket jeg ikke ved om er en fejl!?

Men samtiddig får jeg:

hvilket for mig ser ud som om disken bliver fundet!?

Mit spørgsmål: Bliver disken fundet og bliver den sat op og hvor? Eller
er den død??

Håber der er nogen der kan hjælpe mig.
