Gigabyte is a Linux-friendly brand
I just built an Ubuntu Feisty system around the Gigabyte GA-MA69G-S3H
690G motherboard. It has worked perfectly. (My first build, too!) (Oh,
and I, too, used an AMD Athlon X2 4000 processor. Good choice!)
