No worries at all -- sponsoring is what we're here for! :)

By the way, you could apply for _sru-dev_ upload rights, instead of core-dev,
which is the privilege level our group has at the moment;
this is sufficient for most of our team's work/uploads (SRUs).

However, please feel free to apply for core-dev directly if you'd
like, as we don't have one anymore,
and when our work/uploads depend on the development release being
patched, we need to ask other teams.

And don't feel bad about the delayed application -- I wanted to apply
for core-dev back in September (...).
But we know/certainly understand that other work/tickets may get in
the way with higher priority.

If you'd like any help/mentoring with your application process (to
either privilege level),
I'd be happy to help you with what I can.
