[Bug 789256] Re: Feature request: Save password hash

 

three possible ways of doing this:

(1) encrypt the config with a master password and ask the user to enter
it every time he starts the application

(2) simply obfuscate the password so that script kiddies have it a
little tougher

(3) do it like (1), but put the master password in the keyring of the
user, you wouldn't be able to read the config unless you were loggin in

  Currenty passwords are saved in clear text (.syncany/config.xml) -
  saving a salted hash would be better
