Re: development status
Hi again everyone,
Here are some updates regarding the progress: I have started my work at
Deutsche Bank, and am currently in London for a couple of weeks. I haven't
had time to continue the development on Syncany (that's why there haven't
been any news etc.), BUT I do have really good news regarding the future
progress of the project:
I suggested Syncany to be a "team project" at my University, and 5 students
applied. What that means is that those students have the task to make a
stable version of Syncany. The "team project" is 1 year long, so the 5
people will work on Syncany for one year. Isn't that great?
While I would rather spent all of my time on Syncany, it'll take some time
to get settled with the new job before I can devote more time to Syncany
again. However, I strongly believe that the 5 students will do great work. I
had a first Skype meeting just now -- and when I'm back in Germany, I'll
also work with them in person.
I hope that gives you guys at least a rough idea of what's happening.
Cheers,
Philipp
