Strange. I found the problem in main.py.
There are 3 links to http://master.kernel.org/kdist/fragments/* 

After a little testing found out the url has changed to http://master.kernel.org/kdist/fragments.disabled/* 
I don't know why the .disabled part was added, but if I changed the 3 url's in main.py it worked for me.
I'm on ubuntu jaunty using kernelcheck 1.2.5

Output of my kernelcheck after i click  "Get kernel information" :

Testing your network connection...
Connection found.
Kernel.org server couldn't fulfill request.
Error code: 404

The same behavior in 1.2.5 and also in trunk.
