[Bug 432732] Re: Cannot download kernel information from kernel.org
Well, I just downloaded J Queiroz's 1.2.5-3 version onto my Acer Aspire
One and I'm building my first kernel. Painless, or what? Well done.
My plan was to build a kernel specific for the AAO and was looking for a
utility that would create a kernel config based on all the modules the
kernel had loaded having booted the machine - "is there an app for
that"? I guess I'm after a "starter for 10" on choosing the right
options.
Give the AAO is a tad tardy, I'm looking at using distcc to get some
leverage from other Ubuntu boxes in the house to speed things up.
