** Description changed:
Description:
==========
- Not getting control of serial port.
+ Not getting control of serial port.
Bootup pandaboard with build:
https://android-build.linaro.org/builds/~linaro-android/panda-master-gcc44-aosp-stable-blob/#build=88
Serial logs are printed but I do not get control of serial console(no #
prompt available to enter any text)
+
+ Also,
+ adb shell (over usb) does not yield a shell. Other adb commands work fine.
+
Reproducible:
===========
Yes, 5/5 time
IMPACT:
========
Can't get hold of serial console, blocks all debugging which can be done via serial console
Steps:
==========
1. Flash sd card with image https://android-build.linaro.org/builds/~linaro-android/panda-master-gcc44-aosp-stable-blob/#build=88 - follow instructions on this page.
2. Put sd card in pandaboard 4430 or 4460 and bootup. Serial cable connected from board to host machine.
3. Run command "minicom -D /dev/ttyS0 " on host machine.
Issue: I can see logs getting printed on serial console but I do not get # prompt on serial port.
+ Also,
+ adb shell (over usb) does not yield a shell. Other adb commands work fine.
Hardware:
==========
Pandaboard 4430 /4460
