Title:
TV screen reports "unsupported mode" on fullhd
Status in “linux-ti-omap4” package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
This happens on the pandaboard.
Steps to reproduce:
- Connect Samsung TV UE32C6000 to HDMI port
- Set a 1920x1080 resolution, for example via:
echo 148500,1920/528/148/44,1080/4/36/5 > /sys/devices/platform/omapdss/display0/timings
- TV complains about "unsupported mode"
- Some other modes (up to 1680x1050) seem to work though.
I attached the output of
# sh -c 'echo 7 > /sys/module/drm/parameters/debug'
# cat dmesg
from shortly after connecting the monitor.
