Unfortunately even the error logging is disabled in the release builds.
I've filed https://bugs.launchpad.net/tomdroid/+bug/657561 to fix this
for the next release.

Grab the source code of the release (tgz download or bzr branch
lp:tomdroid), set Tomdroid.LOGGING_ENABLED = true and sync again to get
informations about the parse error.
