Hi Israel,
I can understand your fascination with C and its new and advanced
features - new and powerful tools to do things :-)
I have been playing around making and testing custom tarballs. And I
have been playing around to make it easier to get a persistent live USB
pendrive. It is not necessary but something that helps creating and
using custom tarballs. It also helps using different keyboards and other
tweaks, that non native English speakers want (but is not as easy to get
in ToriOS as in 'full size' distros).

But now I try to think about the general situation rather than specific
features or problems.
Should we consider the current ToriOS-beta.iso as 'the' beta release?
And what you are doing now is preparation for the finally released
official version?
A. Have you got a crude to-do list or a crude time-table?
B. What do you think is necessary in order to consider the iso file with
the live system and the tarball for the installed system to be good
enough to be officially released?
B1. What bug fixes?
B2. What new features? (I understand that a good battery applet is
important to provide in the officially released system. What more?)
B3. Should we provide program packages, that are made for ToriOS, but
not included in the iso file (because of the size limit)?
Best regards
Nio
